Where for many, the intersection of fashion and politics may not seem very clear, obvious, or even worth discussing, I would sincerely disagree. Even before Tinker v. Des Moines in 1969, what we wear has been an expression of ... something. Whether it is an expression of your class status, income level, heritage, religious beliefs or just what you like to wear--what you wear is always sending a message.
This blog is hoping to explore how all of these things interact more--how what we where and when we wear it, and who designs what because they are inspired by what,and how all of these things send messages.
